The Company located in Wellington is a co-operative owned and controlled by the Wholesale Grocery Merchants of New Zealand. It acts as a local Distributor and as an importer of a wide range ot overseas products. The company has an assured turnover and a history of constant profitability. The successful applicant should be an able administrator with wido experience in the Wholesale grocery trade for he will also be responsible for negotiating trading terms and conditions which manufacturers throughout New Zealand.. Additionally he will be expected to liase with Government and Government Departments in all matters relating to both the Wholesale and the retail grocery trade, and be able to discuss proposed changes and new innovations. Such negotiations call for the exercise of tad, diplomacy and integrity. He will be responsible to the Board of Directors for the control of 1 small staff and for the long lange planning of the Company's trading activities. A limited amount of internal travel is involved. A generous salary based on experience and ability will be negotiated and the usual fringe benefits plus superannuation and company car will be available.
