Paterson to call meeting
PA Wellington The directors of A. S. Paterson and Company, Ltd, say they have now clarified the matters which caused some shareholders to remove the then chairman (Mr A. S. Paterson) from the board aftc- a highly-organised proxy battle at the recent annual meeting. An extraordinary meeting of shareholders will be called next month to consider the unanimous recommendation of the directors,that Mr A. S. Paterson be re-elected as a director uf the company. The directors are also giving consideration to the possibility of making a further addition to their number.
