Firm market in light trading
The Wall Street stock market had some very good gains last week, with advances being posted on each successive day. The Dow Jones industrial average rose almost 25 points during the Trading was light. Brokets attributed the gains partly to the postponement of planned price increases by steelmakers and steel users such as appliance manufacturers.
