August was quieter for the Christchurch St John Ambulance Brigade. It attended fewer motor, industrial, and other accidents than in July, but it attended more people who collapsed—9o instead of T he ambulances carried 2473 patients last month, compared with 2V>6 in July. Thee travelled 23.305 miles, 400 miles fewer than in July Motor accidents attended , dropped from 124 to 113 forj the -ame time.
