N.Z. shearing team
PA Masterton A Neu- Zealand shearing team of four men to visit Australia will leave New Zealand in two stages. The captain, Tom Brough (Aria), and Don Morrison (Oamaru) will leave on October 7. and will be preceded two weeks earlier by Roger Cox CHawera) and Martin Ngataki (Mercer). Unlike past years, the three shearers to take part in a test against Australia at Euroa (north of Melbourne) on October 23 will be chosen on their performances in Australia, and will not be named until the day of the test.

Olympics— The U.S. Olympics Committee has approved the formation of a pane! of experts to atudv the scientific and medical aspects of drass and their effect on the performance of worldclass athletes, the “New York Times” reported.
