New Zealand Ballet
Sir, — What hope have our young people today when our most delicate and beautiful art, ballet, resorts to scenes like that printed in “The Press” under the heading “I love you better dead than alive.” More shame to the producers, who, I presume, are in the not very young category. Surely they have not joined the band of fiim producers who seem hellbent on corrupting our young ones. I, for one, will protest by withdrawing my support and depriving myself of many enjoyable even-
ings of amateur ballet. — Yours, etc., B. C. CUNNEEN. August 19, 1976.
