M.R.E.LN.Z. 123 Worcester Street. 9093 University Vacancies LINCOLN UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE CHAIR IN MARKETING THE Council of Lincoln College invites applications for appointment to the Chair in Marketing in the Agricultural Economics and Marketing Department. There is also a Chair in Agricultural Economics in the Department. Tiie appointee will be responsible for existing courses in marketing and allied disciplines and for expansion and development of such courses at undergraduate and graduate level. He will also be required to direct and develop research in marketing at present being conducted in the Department and in the Agricultural Economies Research Unit which is associated with the Department and with the Department of Farm Management and Rural Valuation.

Applicants should hold an advanced University Degree in an appropriate discipline. While direct academic, research and/or practical experience in marketing will be preferred, the Council will welcome applications from candidates whose principal interests in the past have been in other areas but who also display outstanding potential in the marketing field. The appointment will be made within the existing range of professorial salaries, the commencing salary being in accordance with qualifications and experience within the range $16,806$21,176 per annum. Expenses of appointment reimbursed up to specified limits. Government Superannuation available.
