Shirley scored its first win In the premier B rugby league competition when it beat UniversityUnited, 19-10. at Ham on Saturday. There was a thrilling finish to the other fixtures when, in the final minute, Dave Fraser kicked a field goal for Riccarton to give it a 14-13 victory over Halswell at Halswell Domain,
The leading team. Wodlston, had the bye. With six points, Woolston retains the frontrunning from Ricearton (four), Halswell (two), Shirley (two) ana University (two). Shirley has yet to have the bye.
Results:— Shirley 19 (J. Biddle. J. Maikuku, K. White. W. Kahu, S. Mclean tries; Maikuku two goals) beat University 10 (R. Taylor, P. Henry tries; P. Robinson two goals). Riccarton 14 (R- A.
