Pie makers
Sir, —On August 3 you published a very interesting and informative article on pork pie manufacture in Christchurch. In the article it was stated that the only other pork pie manufacturer in the country was Tom Hilton, in Auckland. This is not correct. Gould Bros, Ltd, in Wellington, have been manufacturing English pork pies on a large scale for the last two years. These pies are sold fresh in Wellington and distributed in a frozen state throughout the whole country.—Yours, etc., R. G. GOULD, Managing Director. August 6, 1976.
