Radio Hauraki profit falls
The group net profit of Radio Hauraki N.Z. Ltd, fell 6.6 per cent to $29,699, after providing $3475 less for depreciation at $22,829, and $4654 less for tax at $22,878 the directors say in a preliminary report. Gross income fell 2.7 per cent to $782,694.
Shareholders funds rose $3640 to $357,527, including capital unchanged at $309,700. A recommended final dividend of 6c a share (6 per cent) makes a steady annual rate of 10c a share (10 per cent). Half of the final dividend is to be paid from the capital reserves, and will therefore be tax-free in the hands of shareholders’. The dividend is payable August 27, ex dividend August 11.
