Fishing boat caught
NZPA Canberra The patrol boat H.M AS. Bayonet has apprehended a Taiwanese fishing boat on the Outer Barrier Reef, in Australian waters, east-south-east of Cape Melville, an Australian Defence Department release said yesterday. The fishing boat, Kon Chi No. 1, was described as a wooden vessel about 30m long. It was being escorted to Cairns, Queensland.
