$1M saving on benefits
PA Wellington More than 500 domestic purposes and related emergency benefits have been cancelled by the Department of Social Welfare since March 23.
The saving on these will be nearly SI.SM for a full year.
Beneficiaries have surrendered 396 benefits, and 112 had been cancelled by the department as the result of investigations.
