Familiarity with both transmission and SEM techniques would be an advantage. The appointee would be expected to develop versatility over a range of subjects, participating in the research projects rather than providing a service. The position involves working with a small team, establishing the best manufacturing methods and costing the labour content on the variety of different garments we produce. At least 3 years machining experience is required, but training will be given on garment costing and methods.
