Ministry of II Agriculture Fisheries FARM MANAGER (MIXED CROPPING) FLOCK HOUSE FARM TRAINING INSTITUTE BULLS Vacancy No. 4196 A FARM MANAGER is required for this Ministry’s 83 hectare intensive cropping farm at the Fleck House Farm Training Institute, which is situated approximately 14 kilometres south-west from the township of Bulls and 42 kilometres from the city of Palmerston North. The appointee, as well as being responsible for the management of the farm, will also be responsible for training students (16-18 years) in the practical aspects of arable farming and the operation of tractors, implements and farm machinery. From time to time the. appointee will also assist with the running of short courses for farmers. Qualifications required are a Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent, experience on cropping farms with a wide range of farm machinery and the ability to impart knowledge and instruct students. Salary in accordance with qualifications and experience. Rent free housing available and some assistance with appointment expenses may be granted if the appointee is married and required to transfer to take up appointment.
