Catholic treaty
Spam and the Vatican have signed a treaty giving the Roman Catholic Church exclusive right to name its Spanish bishops for the first time in 500 sears. The treaty was a major step toward repairing relations between the Holy See and Roman Catholic Spain, which became strained during the rule of the late dictator, Generalissimo Francisco Franco.
