SHAREMARKET INDULGES IN BUDGET ENTHUSIASM
The New Zealand sharemarket continued to indulge in post-Budget enthusiasm yesterday, and the N.Z.U.C. index rose O.bfi t 0 ~oin a new level for the vear. Carter Holt gained a further lc, to add on to the 13c it made on Friday. N.Z. Forest Products rose 2c and lonian >c. Insurance and export meat companies were also nrmer. « - quieter than on Friday, but the number of issues traded increased.
