St John needs aid

The Canterbury and West Coast division of the St (John Ambulance Brigade has appealed for more voluntary recruits. They are given first aid and home nursing training, and are re-examined in the-e subjects each year. Last year 999 people joined the brigade, and the staff recruiting officer for the district (Mr I .
