149 ’scalpers’ arrested
NZPA Montreal Montreal police have arrested 149 Olympic Games ticket scaipers since the events began a week ago, officials said yesterday, Agence France-Presse reported. Police confiscated more l than 3500 tickets held by the) black marketeers. Most of the scalpers pleaded guilty and were fined small sums. On Sunday, a total of 54 accused scalpers ■ appeared in court, thirty-four foreigners and the rest from Montreal.
