The Brian Edwards interview of the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) was not cut, or edited in any way, said a TVI spokesman in Wellington yesterday. “It would be more than our life is worth,” he said.
The interruptions and poor reception were caused by a faulty videotape machine in Dunedin, compounded by surges in the main electric power supply. The videotape had been flown to Dunedin foi South Island transmissior because viewers misse the show on Saturdr night.
