Institute has more courses
The Christchurch Technical Institute is making a special effort to provide more cdtirses, in response to recommendations made at the Educational Development Conference.
The deputy director (Miss J. M. Herbison) said that some of the courses had yet to be approved by the Education Department, and others had begun. Departments offering more courses are those of building and architecture, secretarial studies, applied sciences, general studies, mechanical, civil and production engineering, metal trades, and nursing studies.
