PA-Reuter Amman I A new Jordanian Cabinet under Mr Mudar Badran, formerly Chief of the Royal Cabinet, was sworn i in ~ last night by King ) Hussein. prochement with Syria during the last year. i King Hussein asked the new Government to maintain good relations between Jordan and the other Arab States, and to keep an even balance in Jordan’s relations with East and West. Mr Badran has held several Cabinet posts, including Minister of Education. As [Chief of the Royal Cabinet, [he accompanied King Husisein to Damascus two days I ago.
Jordan’s representative at the United Nations, Sharif Abdul Hamid Sharaf, was appointed to succeed him as Chief of the Royal Cabinet.
