A total of 230,500 shares was traded on New Zealand stock exchanges on Tuesday, 471,750 fewer than on Monday. Industrial shares totalled 226,100 (696,650 on Monday), and 4400 mining and oil shares were traded (5600 on Monday).

Trans Holdings, Ltd. has issued 400,000 new shares to partly finance the acquisition of the Picton Autolodge. These shares do not qualify; for the dividend in the year to May 31, 1976, but rank; ‘equally thereafter. ‘
