Princess in team
NZPA-Reuter London Princess Anne has at last realised her ambition to ride at the Olympic Games. She has been selected for Britain's three-day event equestrian team at Montreal. Princess Anne started serious horse-riding at the age of seven. Her husband, Captain Mark Phillips, is as keen a horserider as she, and belongs to a fashionable British Army cavalry regiment, the Queen’s Dragoon Guards. They had both hoped to make the Olympic team but Captain Phillips, who represented Britain at the 1972 Olympic Games at Munich, is named as a travelling reserve this time.
