DRINKING AGE I watched a television feature about the lowering of the drinking age to 18. Surely with the present number of alcoholics in New Zealand being many thousands, not one in his or her right mind can really advocate this. At present we have enough accidents, deaths, broken homes and miseries caused by the habit, to justify a halt in the availability of this, the most dangerous drug. — SADIE HAYMAN.
