‘U-2 spy story ' repeat
“Counterpoint — The U-2 Spy Story” a documentary to be repeated on TVI on Saturday afternoon, gives two differing views of the Francis Gary Powers U-2 incident. Powers himself, the man who flew the plane shot down by the Russians, gives his account of the U-2 operations and a Norwegian, Selmer Nillson, who spied for the Russians, gives his account.
These two divergent perspectives paint an interesting picture of an incident which brought the American-Russian cold war to fl a s h-p o i n t .
