Minister ‘removed’
A senior official at Shanghai’s Futan University has said that the Chinese Education Minister (Mr Chou Junghsin) had been ‘‘removed from office" but could not confirm reports he was dead. Mr Chou was the first target of the anti-Rightist campaign which culminated five weeks ago in political riots and the dismissal of the Vice-Premier (Mr Teng Hsiao-ping).—-Shanghai.
