Widnes loses to St Helens
(N.Z. Pres* Association) LONDON. Saint Helens poured op three tries late in the second half to win the Rugby League Challenge Cup final before a packed Wembley Stadium on Saturday. In temperatures above 80 degrees, Widnes wilted over the final stages after holding the favourites for most of the match. Final scores were: Saint Helens 20, beat Widnes five. Saint Helens lead 6-4 at halftime.
