(N Z. Press Association» AUCKLAND, April 20. A middle-aged man was admitted to Middlemore Hospital with head injuries late last night after being beaten and robbed of $lO at Papakura. After leaving a hotel at closing time, the man walked to an alley near a taxi rank to get his bicycle. He was attacked by at least two men and was found lying surrounded by broken beer bottles almost two hours later. The man, whose name is not available yet, is reported to be in a satisfactory condition. Strike continues. — Labourers employed on the University of Auckland human science building project continued their three-weeks-old strike yesterday.
