(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON. A New Zealand smallbore team shot its best-ever score for the Dewar Cup on the Waipa range at Hamilton on Monday. The team of 20 totalled 7818 out of a possible 8000, 81 points better than last year. The Dewar Cup is contested in a postal shoot involving a number of Englishspeaking countries, including Britain, Canada, Australia and the United States. It is expected to be some time before the result is known. Among the top individual scorers were the Christchurch competitors J. Neale (393), R. Davies (392), R. E. Taylor (391), J. Fleming (392), and I. Ballinger (390).
