(N.Z. Press Association) TIMARU. Timaru Celtic defeated Blenheim, 22-12 yesterday in a hard fought game to win the South Island Marist rugby football tournament held in Timaru over the week-end The half-time score was 10-0 to Timaru. Results of other matches played today were: Timaru 9, Dunedin 0; Ashburton 19, Blenheim 10; Invercargill 3 Greymouth 9; Gore 10, Hokitika 6.
