Two-day wool sale now
Press Association f WELLINGTON. April 20. The Christchurch wool sale set down for May 19 will now be a two-day sale on May 17 and 19, the Wool Auction Sales Committee, announced today. The reason is that because of favourable growing conditions it Is believed that the wool coming forward for the sale will exceed 30,000 bales The new clip offering will be augmented by about 8000 bales of Wool Marketing Corporation stock woo] to bring the total for the twoday sale to about 40,000 bales.
The corporation will also offer 4000 bales of stock wool at the Dunedin sale of May 27. 4000 bales at the In -1 vercargill sale of June 4, and 2000 bales at the Auckland sale of June 24. The committee also announced that the Timaru sale of April 30 would start at 8 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. because of the expected completion of the previous day’s Wellington sale by about
