Royal Dell (No. 3), rails, ran on well to clinch third place. Deep Mystery was fourth, and Anita Kay (No. 7) was fifth. Mellanie was three lengths back in sixth position and Magic Touch ran on for seventh. BOTTOM: Surge Again wins the Great Easter Handicap ahead of Duntroon (No. 13), obscured on rails, and Game Warrior (No. 8) half a neck third. William Brown was back a further half a length in fourth place, and Unlucky in Love was fifth.
