Im Cambodians killed

More than one million people were killed during the five-year war in Cambodia from March 18. 1970, to April 17. 1975. said the newlyelected Cambodian President, Mr Khieu Samphan. The figures were given during a 45-m inute speech to more than 10,000 people, and reported by Phnom Penh Radio. He was speaking on the eve of the anniversary of the Khmer Rouge victory over the Lon Nol administration.
