Bond Corporation Hold--1 mgs, Ltd, lost another sAust2.7m net in the halfyear to December 31. However, the result is an improvement over the 59.4 m. : deficit for the haif year to -June 30, 1975. The report shows that: , Bond Corporation consid--erabiy improved its trading position and had made an operating profit of $191,000 before all charges compared with a trading loss of $575,000 in the previous cor- ■ responding six months. I The loss for the latest; ■ half-year was after an in- 1 ■ crease of $400,000 in interest 1 charges of $2.7m. The provision for depreIciation rose to $268,000. but '■tax fell $48,000 to $21,000. Group sales tell 2 per cent: j, to 59.6 m; income from non-1 itrading activities fell 31 per; ( cent to $2.5m. ( Group sales fell 2 per cent . to .59.6 n income from non-. trading activities fell 31 per ’ cent to $2.5m. : Trading conditions have • improved since December, the directors say.
