Motor-cycle reward up

John Boote, the Christchurch motor-cycle road racer whose TZ7SO Yamaha frame and wheels were stolen from the garage of his Cashmere home last week, has increased the reward. He is now prepared to pay $lOOO for any information leading to the recovery of his property. He has now abandoned all thoughts of trying to race at the Australian Bathurst meeting next Sunday and will concentrate, instead, on the New Zealand Grand Prix at Ruapuna

Park. However, he is still very anxious to get his special cantilever frame back because it would cost him S4OOO to replace it. Boote is still awaiting a new water pump from , Japan for the RGSOO Suzuki he hopes to race in the grand prix. Efforts are also being made to get the original one repaired in Christchurch. Boote, once a leading production racer before turning to grand prix events, has also entered the two production events at the grand prix.
