Boy saved by nurse

<N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 13. A Wellington shopkeeper has found the nurse who. he believes, saved the life of his 23-month-old son in a Wellington street last Thursday. Mr David Stuart, seeking to express his thanks, placed an advertisement in the personal column of the “Evening Post” last Friday. The nurse later visited the shop. The youngster struck his head after a fall in the back of the shop, then went into convulsions. Mr Stuart picked his son up and ran outside into the street yelling for help.

The nurse arrived and administered mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, after which she became lost in the crowd, Mr Stuart said. A doctor who later treated the bov said the nurse had done all the right things. The nurse wanted to remain anonymous.
