More cash to customs
Revenue collected by the Christchurch customs office during March, at $7,277,386, was $2,679,691 higher than in March last year. Customs and excise revenue rose $1,161,787 to $3,926,610, sales tax was $1,510,096 higher at $3,338,093, light duties were $B4O higher at $2,370, and “miscellaneous” revenue also rose from $7,345 to $10,313.
