Chevrolet’s latest model is this Monza Super Spyder ll—basically a hatchback version of the Monza “two plus two” model. Unfortunately the car is not for sale, although it may lead to the development of a similar production model. Power is provided by a 120 b.h.p. twin-cam, fourcylinder developed by Cosworth of Britain, and connected to a five-speed gearbox. The car has full-width, single-tube fluorescent lighting instead of dipped-beam headlights. Conventional lights are used for “main beam” driving. The car is said to be. aerodynamically, one of the most efficient ever made in the United States.
