A burglar was disturbed as the tried to enter a flat in • Gibson Street early on Thursday morning. The occupant of the flat chased the young man after |he tried to force open a winidow. The police are looking for I a European in his 20s. about sft lOin. slim, with dark hair. He was wearing a dark jersey. A transistor radio and 100, miniature bottles of liquor, I worth a total of $350, were, stolen from a house in Cum-' berland Street on Wednesday. Cash worth $l2O was! taken from Isaacs, Ltd, inj Harewood on Wednesday, i Entry was gained through an' insecure window.
A colour television set and stereo equipment worth a total of $l3OO was stolen from a house in Westburn Terrace some time this week. A flat in Whitmore Street; was broken into on Tuesday, and 5136 in cash was taken? Entry was gained through a, window.
