Daily volume
A total of 313,500 shares was traded on New Zealand exchanges yesterday, 8,850 fewer than on Tuesday. Industrial issues totalled 310,900 (316,150 on Tuesday), and 2600 mining and oil shares were traded (16,200 on Tuesday). A total of 119 New Zealand issues was traded.
