Fire engine turns over

WELLINGTON. March 17. A five-ton Commer fire engine, en route to a gorse fire near Porirua today, failed to take a corner, slid into the kerb, and smashed on its side. Four of the five men on the engine clambered oul and boarded a following vehicle, while their driver waited to supervise salvage operations.
No-one was hurt and damage to the engine was negligible.
