S.F.M. issue at 150c
Southland Frozen Meat and Produce Export Co. Ltd, plans to make a one-for-seven cash issue of 100 c ordinary shares at a premium of 50c a share to shareholders on April 6. Application will be made for the rights to be quoted on the stock exchange. The shares will be payable in two instalments, the first instalment of 75c by May 21, 1976, and the second instalment a>so 75c payable by September 17, 1976.
The shares may be paid up in full on application, but no benefit will accrue from this. The new shares would not receive the interim dividend expected to be paid in August 1976> but they would participate to the extent of one-half of the final dividend expected to be paid in March 1977.
Further details of the issue will be advised later.
Arrangements were being made to have the issue underwritten.
