Jiggers hit near Otira
<from Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH. March 16. Two motorised railway jiggers collided head-on in an unusual accident on the midland line near Otira today. It is not known how the accident happened, but it is believed that one driver knew the other was on the line, and was slowing down to take his jigger off the track when the collision occurred. Both men were treated at Grey Hospital. One was dis-1 charged, and the other was* transferred to Westland Hospital for observation.
