Sound study by Tui
(N Z Press Association) WELLINGTON. March 15. The Royal New Zealand Navy's oceanographic research ship Tui sailed from Auckland today to begin a major study of underwater sound characteristics in the South Pacific. The initial phase of the study, named ‘Project Span Three,” which is being carried out in conjunction with the United States, will cover an area as far north as Fiji.
