Colour TV sets double
j (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON The number of licensed colour television sets in New : Zealand increased about 150 per cent in the last year. Figures released by the Post Office show there were 164.643 licensed colour sets at the end of 1975, compared with 66.149 at the end of 1974. Auckland, with 41,587 colour sets, headed the list. Auckland also had the highest ratio of coloured television sets to black and white sets. 3:1. The number of licensed black and white sets decreased from 722,154 in 1974 to 651,621.
