Two cycling titles to S. Craig

The Mid-Canterbury junior cyclist, S. Craig, completed a personal double at the New Zealand cash cycling championships held at New Plymouth over the weekend.

He won the national titles for the 500 m sprint, the 1600 m, and the 8000 m races, having won the Canterburytitles for the same events only two weeks ago. And for the Taranaki senior rider, I. Selby, it was a case of almost making it again, as he took the runner-up slot in the 500 m sprint for the fourth time. Taranaki lost its chance for the team’s pursuit title ■ when two of its riders.
