I.R.A. man arrested

Martin McGuinness, onetime provisional LR.A. leader in Londonderry, has been arrested in the city by troops.
McGuinness and another man, named Tony Crossan, were picked up during a search of a house in the Republican Bogside. An Army spokesman said the two men had been handed over to the police. A police spokesman would only confirm that two people were helping police with inquiries. No reason for the arrests W'as given.
