Speedway postponed to tonight
Rain forced officials to postpone the speedway meeting, which was to have been held at Templeton on Saturday night. “The track was in excellent condition but the spectators would not have enjoyed it much,” the president of the Christchurch Speedway Association (Mr A. G. Nesbitt) said. The motor-cycle sidecar match between Auckland and Canterbury will now be held this evening. The normal events for other racing classes will also be held.
