Car hits girls
One of two girls who were struck by a car at the corner of Harewood Road and Gardiners Road about 11.15 p.m. •on Saturday is in a fairly comfortable condition in Christchurch Hospital. Vicky Frost, aged 16, of 14 Cheyenne Street, Riccarton, suffered serious head injuries. The second girl. Sue Buchanan, aged 16, of 136 Albany Street. Dunedin, was treated at The Princess Margaret Hospital for head injuries and later discharged.
