C\ Z PA Reuter—/ i LONDON. ; The Australian ketch Anaconda 11 has cut the lead of I Great Britain II by almost; 200 miles in the Sydney-to-1 London leg of the ’’Financial' Times” clipper race. The race organisers said Anaconda 11 had made this gain in the last two days: and was now only 360 miles behind the British yacht.

The two small boats. C.S. and R.B II Rusnelli. the Italian schooner. and Great Escape, the Dutch ketch, continue their own private battle. running 50 miles apart and on the same longtitude. The French yacht Kriler 11, which had to return to Sydney for a new rudder, is expected to restart in about a week.
